Adds a three-dimensional user interface to your desktop.
Review by Future Shock:
3DTop is a very nice program. My programs seem to be running more stably using this desktop. If anything, resources seem to be more available.
The best part of 3DTop is that it's an unzip and place utility. I just unzipped it and dropped it in the C: folder, then created a shortcut for the start menu. I launch it from there.
Other features:
- Taskbar (even set to hide) and Start Menu function fully
- Mouse settings work correctly
- Standby functions fully
This program works great with Dexpot, which I may use for multiple desktops now. The only question I have is which I will make my main desktop. I am considering moving everything to desktop 2 in Dexpot and using 3DTop as my main desktop.
3DTop will open on start/restart with Dexpot set to open on startup. In Dexpot, just select "Configure Desktops" from the right click systray menu, then select the desktop you would like to run the program on. Click on "Start-Up" and add the location of the .exe for 3DTop along with the command /AUTO.
Compatibility and License
3DTop is provided under a freeware license on Windows from desktop enhancement software with no restrictions on usage. Download and installation of this PC software is free and 1.5.0 is the latest version last time we checked.
What version of Windows can 3DTop run on?
3DTop can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. It comes in both 32-bit and 64-bit downloads.
